34 months

Joel is 34 months and weighs about 13.5kg.

He's extremely "sticky" this month, fusses and cries at the slightest thing that upsets him. Perhaps it's becoz of little Emma's arrival. But Joel seems to love his baby sister. When Emma is crying, Joel will say "Meimei, dont cry". Before he goes to school or goes to bed, he will say Goodbye & Goodnight to Emma.

This month, Elvis took 2 weeks leave from work (after Emma's birth) and he noticed that Joel seems a little moody when he's playing in his room, and he's also a lot naughtier than before. On this day, Joel came home from school and he seems upset (again). So, i brought him to my room and we sat by the window to read a new book 'Elmo's Guessing Game About Colours'. When Joel guessed the colour correctly, i held his face with my hands to sayang him...and he repeated the action every time we got to that part. Joel is such a sweet boy - well, most of the time. ;)

Joel, Daddy & Mommy still love you just as much even though we have Emma meimei now.

hi, been following your blog even before I gave birth to my gal in Apr-08. It's normal for Joel to be a bit moody when the 2nd one came along. I just delivered my boy in June and my girl also very moody and need a lot of attentions from us during the 1st 2 months. Nevertheless, she still loves her didi very much and do the same like Joel whenever she go/back from school.

thanks so much for dropping a message here. i sure hope that Joel will behave better in a few months. the downside is by then, i'll probably be spending most of my time with Emma after the c'lady leaves. actually, we've been doing our best to assure Joel we love him sooo much. when he throws tantrums, he's still too cute for me to stay angry with him for long anyway. haha! ;p

Hi Jo, Congrats on the arrival of Emma. It's a lovely name. Yes, my elder gal Kimi actually demanded a lot of attention from us after Didi came along. But she really loves Didi and likes to play with him. I understand that it is quite tough handling a toddler and a baby. Hope you are doing really well and continue to be so eventhough after c'lady leaves. Take good care of yourself too.

Bryan dont have any meimei and didi (yet) but he already make me headache everyday with all his whinning, screaming and on the top of all..(almost) everyday refuse poop, bathing, take vitamin, brushing teeth, i must struggle and fighting over him before getting him all settle and since he's with me 24/7 plus other BIG baby who only can complain and order here and that its really tiring and hardly control my emotion :( i miss my old maid so much..wakakakak :D
