In the morning, we went to Joel's class at MiKids. After that, we headed to IKEA and back home to unload the stuffs Elvis bought for his office. We went out again immediately for lunch at Itoya. Joel didnt take his nap and he was really really sleepy...but we had to keep him awake for the party (which was in another hour).
Here's an angmoh lady who smiled and said Bye to Joel as she left the restaurant. I like this picture. (I think she looks a little like Michael Jackson in the picture)
At Gymboree
Here's the posters of the other kids. They made a mistake (with logistics) and we didnt get Joel's poster. :(

The Dec/Jan birthday cake... As you can see, the bigger boys blew all the candles before Joel got his chance to stand up... He loved the strawberry cake nevertheless. ;)
After that, they formed a human train and went to the lobby/waiting area to tell everyone it's their birthday!
As soon as everything ended, Joel was distracted by the toys in that area. Haha! He soon fell asleep when we left the place and went home (again, before dinner).
Joel got this soft toy in the gift-exchange. It is 海宝 Haibao - the mascot for Shanghai Expo 2010.
Dinner was with Ann at an authentic Taiwan spicy hotpot 吴记(台北)麻辣火锅. She had also gone to Ikea today (in the afternoon) and she bought Joel these puppets. Cuteness!
Joel said "bag bag" and he wanted to carry his water bottle buddy (a customized gift from Jerome's sis) with Joel's name on it.
Sunday, it rained the whole day. So we ordered pizza and later decided to skip Joel's Gymboree art class too. Daddy Elvis went to the office and dabaoed dinner home in the evening.
It was very cold the whole day...and it snowed today (Monday). The second time this winter. ;)

actually, the "teacher" will sing a song which says it's their birthdays...then she will also say something. ;p
