enchanted

I was looking at a website...then i saw the link to this brand Majolica Majorca. (It says 'Available in Singapore 24 Oct' - i'm not sure if it's 2008/2009 though) This is a makeup line from Shiseido Japan.

When i first saw this brand 2 years ago in a small shop in Shanghai, i was sooo in love with it! I particularly like the compact powder packaging. But i was so disappointed when i realized i "should not" buy it coz what's the use of the lovely box when the powder is finished (and cannot buy the refill). The owner of the shop could not promise that she'll be able to get a continuous supply. So it was a lust at that time.

Last year, i chanced upon a bulk purchase and i ordered a Majolica Majorca blusher (which till date, i still have not used coz i'm not done with my Guerlain). The blusher packaging is much simpler - not elaborate and "fantasy". Haha! Yes, their image is somewhat like "fantasy". You can tell from their website here - very slow but enchanting! (I dont have the patience to wait for the stories to unfold) Do check out their mascara packaging too! Some examples below. So pretty! ;)

February is a "short month" but this is my 57th post!

Hmm... I wondering why...

14 months

Joel weighs 10kg at 14 months - 24.02.09. Dropped by 0.5kg. It seems he hasnt been gaining any weight for many months now. But he does look taller...a bit only lah...and definitely has slimmer thighs. ;p

Joel doesnt know how to bite on bigger chucks of food. Eg. A piece of biscuit or bread. So, we still have to break it up into bite-sized bits for him.

lulu the spider

I wanna recommend this toy to parents! We bought this the last time we went back to Singapore for CNY.

Letters with Lulu from LeapFrog.
There's 3 modes:
1. Tap to show A-to-Z,
2. Sings the alphabet song,
3. Spins an alphabet (randomly).
I think it's good coz it encourages the kid to tap on the spider's tummy to show the next alphabet. Soon, they might be able to memorize the alphabet song!

Also in the same series are Shapes with Ella (the Elephant) and Animals with Appy (the Lion).

All are appropriate for Ages 6 Months to 3 Years. I also realized that the older version of Lulu the Spider is blue in colour and looks slightly different. Works the same though. It's not very expensive too at S$29.90.

Now, even our Ahyi has mastered A-to-G! Keke ;p

P.S. The old version of Lulu has a loop on her head and it comes with a hook. The new version doesnt. So what i did was to sew up the ribbons (on her head) and loop one of those 'C'-shaped baby hooks through. You can then hang it on the back of your car seat. Of course, we dont have a car lah...but it's good to hang on anything! Very handy! ;)

good or bad

I've been meaning to trim my hair a few weeks ago coz it's getting a bit "unmanageable"...then it got sooo cold...and lots of other excuses lah... It was a dread to dress up to go further than "nearby", to "waste" my dailies lens, i couldnt find the salon card etc etc... But all boils down to plain lazy lah. Then Elvis found the salon card yday before he left for HK (today). So, i finally moved my butt away from this Mac and went to the salon this afternoon.

I thought i could really do with another perm since it's already 6 months old and getting a bit out-of-shape. My original hair colour (and white hair) also popping out more than 10cm. As usual, i was open to suggestions... But sadly, i came home looking like a 40-year old beer promoter AUNTY!!! I told Elvis i couldnt tell if it's good or bad. (Partly coz my hair wasnt 100% dried when i left the salon)

I know this picture doesnt look as bad as what i described...coz it's dried when i took this and i did try to "fluff" it up a bit more. But really, it's quite bad!!! The curls are too tight, the length is a bit too short and too much layers, too thin. It's also too short when i try to tie it up. Somehow somewhere just doesnt look quite right! I will see if i can do anything about it when i go back next week for colouring. Or hopefully when i wash & style it myself a few days later, it will look better when the curls are more relaxed. :/

more updates on terry

My sis said they didn't do the surgery today becoz blood test showed that Terry's liver is a little weak so he must take nutrients for 2 weeks and check again.
*Liver is the organ for breaking down the anesthesia. As Terry is very old, he might run the risk of not waking up from the surgery. Hence it is not advisable to do the surgery when his liver is not in good condition.

In the meantime, they will need to bring Terry to the vet every other day to release his bladder. Other than that, his blood results are okay. Not diabetic. They also need to run some tests for his kidneys... If it's not that good, might have to perform the surgery earlier than planned. That's all i have for now.

God is watching over us. Amen!

World's Greatest Brunch buffet at The Westin Shanghai, Huaihai Road Gymboree, Xinle Road, Datong Garden...

Actually, there's LOTS of food...but i dont know why all i ate was these 3 plates (below) and a piece of yummy Peking duck from Elvis' plate.


The many performances at The Stage.
- First to perform was the orchestra, then accompanied by the soprano singers who were excellent!!! Many audiences (angmohs) cheered after each song. If you close your eyes, you would think that it's an angmoh singing lor!
(I remembered all these songs from our previous visit and i also thought it was angmoh singers!)
- Next was the chinese ribbon/fan dance by tall & sexy girls! Keke... (Lots of angmoh men crowd around to take photos)
- Acrobatics (which i dont like). No doubt it's entertaining, it's sad to see young children performing. The girl in pink bodysuit is balancing on a seesaw plank with just a metal can underneath, and trying to toss some metal bowls, a cup & spoon onto her head. She failed at tossing 3 bowls at a time...and she kept trying and trying! Really salute her determination!

- Kungfu/Wushu
- (Same group of sexy girls.) This time with umbrellas and a nice chinese pop song sung by 1 of the girls. I only liked the song lah. ;p
- Tossing the chinese "bells"
- Finally, the Filipino 3-man band (1st picture...but can only see 2 man from my view)

The cute folk art "leaves folding" Aunty who gave us a leaf frog, a peacock (i think) and a turtle balloon. I liked these group of performers who walked around to fold these insects for children. I always hope they will stop by for Joel by none did - except this cute Aunty. She gave Joel the balloon, then the frog...then when i went over to her to ask for a photo, she gave me the "peacock" she was holding as sample! She also asked me to email her the photos which i already did. Keke... ;)

In the evening, we went to Datong Garden (near our house) to check out another HK "cha chan ting" becoz our usual food delivery guy has quit!!! So, now no more yummy delivery food - except for fast food. Hmmmm... We "dabao" some dishes home and thinks it's not as yummy as Xing Wang. :/

O ya, as for the Wakodo instant porridge, Joel's feed was after we've left The Westin. (No hotwater) So, we decided to buy him bread for lunch. It's his first time eating bread as a meal. 2 slices of plain milk bread. We gave him the instant porridge for dinner when we got home. Surprisingly, it was enough for him. In fact, Elvis kept asking me to microwave the other pack too (coz it was like 1/4 of his usual amount) ...but i wanted to wait until he was almost done with the pack. In any case, i thought i could feed him his milk earlier. Stingy mommy. ;p

It's been raining the whole day...and the whole week... So gloomy... :(

updates from vet 2

My sis called me from Vet #2. After the x-ray, there's indeed stones in Terry's bladder. Vet #2 advise is to go ahead with the operation to remove the stones coz he saw that Terry is still so active (dont look sick)...so he also dont have the heart to put him to sleep. The doc even said that if we decide to put Terry to sleep, we should go somewhere else coz he thinks Terry has a chance at survival. The doc also said that some 17-year old dogs also can survive the op. At least that gave us more hope! So...my family has arranged to do the op tomorrow 9am.

As with all operations, there will be risks involved...but i'm sure God is looking after Terry...and Terry does seem stronger now...so let's keep our fingers crossed and pray hard that all goes well.

By the time i wake up and start my day tomorrow, i would have known the outcome.

Hi everyone,
Good news! Looks like Terry can be saved after all! His test results came back today and it seems there's no stones in his bladder!
Initial Diagnosis:
- stones in his bladder
- prostate cancer
1. what the vet did (on Sunday) was to push the kidney stones away (temporarily) from his bladder so that he can continue to pee. But it would not last for more than 3 days due to the force of gravity.
2. given that he wont be able to pee again soon, he would have to be put to sleep this week.
3. and considering Terry's advanced age and health, he might not survive the operation on anesthesia to remove the stones.

*Prostate Cancer - that forms in tissues of the prostate (a gland in the male reproductive system found below the bladder and in front of the rectum)
* Prostate cancer usually occurs in older man
** FYI, Terry has only 1 testicle which might also be the cause of the cancer

Terry lived a very long healthy life, 17 x 7 = 119 going 120, as long as Moses who lived till 120!

My sis Audrey was also planning to bring him to another vet to get a second opinion on the stones in bladder and the prostate cancer.

Vet #2 suggests an X-ray before we decide to put Terry down. He says urinary blockage could be due to stones or infection. He also mentioned that enlarged prostate does not mean it's cancerous. At times, some medication can cure the swell. Besides, Terry seems happy now, he can eat, walk, pee and poo.

So...they will bring him to Vet #2 tonight.

I was also trying to get my air tickets (to Singapore-Bali) changed this morning...so that i can go back to Singapore tomorrow with Joel to see Terry before we put him to sleep on Fri/Sat. The ticket is not under the 2-to-go promo, but it seems our tickets cannot be changed - even if i'm willing to top-up money. I needed to buy another ticket (full fare for adult & infant), and the current ticket will be deemed invalid.

Whatever the outcome, the most praise goes to GOD our Abba Father who is watching over Terry. There is NO spot in you.

P.S. A lot of this info (above) is copied/paste from my sis' emails...but the last 2 sentences are from me! Haha! I dont remember if Terry's been with us for 14 years or was it 17 years...indeed he's been blessed in God's family! I know some of you (or ALL of you) are laughing at me now for being so holy all of a sudden. Keke... But i know this has to be GOD'S WORK! God is sooo good! ;)

Of course, i was also done with Gossip Girl Season 1 & 2. Elvis is still just at disc 1!

I watched some of it in the afternoon when Ahyi was at our place...and perhaps she got quite a shock (an understatement) with the scenes! The kissing and stuffs...typical is such teenage series. Haha... So, i decided to spare her the awkwardness and watched it after she leaves instead. ;p

FYI, i could tell she was keen to watch the show too (although she doesnt understand English) coz her head kept turning to look at the TV...then when the people kiss etc...she cant decide if she wanna look up or look down...so she kept doing both!!! Hahaha... ;p

made of honor

Last week, i finally watched Made of Honor (2008) - another from the tonnes of DVDs in our home. Usually when we buy them, it's very "updated"...but when we finally watch it, it could be very "outdated". Keke... ;p

I liked the movie coz it's a romantic comedy! Absolutely no sad parts. Plus the people are good-looking! ;)

Made of Honor revolves around Tom and Hannah, who have been platonic friends for 10 years. He's a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr. Right. Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Hannah gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.

It seems everyone is SHOCKED by the amount of porridge Joel eats! Haha... Yes, he's been eating this amount of cereal since he was 6 months old. In the same yellow bowl. Then we changed it to porridge when he was about 10 months old. Sometimes when he gets "a little fussy" - maybe he's teething - he will eat slightly lesser.

This is what Joel eats in a day:
Morning - 260ml Milk
Lunch - Porridge (the yellow bowl)
Dinner - Porridge (the yellow bowl)
Supper - 260ml Milk

Nothing Is Wrong With God, His Word And You

Song of Solomon 4:7
7 You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you.

Sometimes, when we don’t receive our healing, breakthrough, restoration or miracle child, we can’t help but think that something is wrong with us. We tell ourselves, “Nothing’s wrong with God, nothing’s wrong with the Word, so something must be wrong with me!” My friend, if you think that your miracle depends on you, then you are on shaky ground.

In the old covenant, we see this “it’s all up to me” demand put on man. God’s part was to bless His people, but only if they played their part by obeying all of His laws. If they didn’t do their part, not only would they not be blessed, but the curse would also come on them.

Most of the time, they ended up under the curse because they just could not keep all of God’s laws. So God found fault with that covenant because though He wanted to bless man, man’s sins made it difficult for Him to do so. Man himself was the weak link.

In the new covenant, man has no part to play except to believe and receive. The new covenant of grace was cut between God the Father and God the Son — both infallible and more than able to keep the covenant.

God the Son is man’s representative. Jesus represents you and me. So in this covenant, how much we can receive from God depends on how good our representative is, how perfect His obedience is. Of course, Jesus is the perfect Man with perfect obedience. So in Him, we are qualified to receive all the blessings of God! We only need to believe and receive.

Jesus’ blood has been shed for the remission of all your sins. You are now the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) By His one perfect sacrifice, He has perfected you forever. (Hebrews 10:14, KJV) There is no spot in you!

Today, the devil has no right to tell you that you cannot be blessed because there is something wrong with you. So as you are waiting for your miracle, say, “Nothing’s wrong with God, nothing’s wrong with the Word and nothing’s wrong with me! I am going to receive my miracle!”

My dog is sick...and has to be put to sleep this week. :_(

He's been with us for 14 years. He's like our little brother and our baby - Terry Koh. So this is a really tough decision to make...

I love you, Terry, but i have to let you go. Thank you for being with us for these 14 years (and the 2 years that i'm gone). I'm sooo sorry i cannot be there with you now. And i'm soooooooo sorry i've neglected you after i have Baby Joel. But i still love you. I will always remember you. Goodbye, my baby. Goodbye...

big eater

Looks like we have 1 small problem here... The pack of Wakodo instant porridge is not a mix...and the portion is just the size of my palm! Looks like he can finish 2 packs at a go! (It's kinda like the size of Ceasar dog pate...maybe even slightly smaller)

Below is the portion that Joel eats every time!!! I've always wanted to blog about this big eater. (This picture has been in my cellphone for a long time) Quite scary huh! Now, he sometimes eats lesser than this amount. But still considered a lot, i think. ;p


To Come: Will test tomorrow and see if it's indeed enough for him...

everything wakodo

Up next (on food packaging again) is this Wakodo baby food products. It's from Japan and they have baby snacks, fruit juice, fruit/veg/fish puree, plain/flavoured porridge, cereal, soup, wheat tea, yogurt, milk powder...and even water (for making milk)!

For our coming trip to Bali, we're really thinking hard what kinds of food Joel can eat since he only has 4 teeth. So i decided to order this baby porridge to try. (Actually, i've always wanted to try it when Joel started on solids... So this is finally an excuse to buy it! Haha!) It arrived this morning...so i'm going to try it on Joel tomorrow. This is vegetables & mini fish (aka ikan billis) flavour. FYI, it's ¥52.80 for a box of 80g x 2. So it works out to about S$5 each meal.

Our friend, Astrid, has suggested cooking porridge and freezing it! I didnt even know about this "trick"! WOW! Amazing huh! (I'm so suaku) She's also offered to cook Joel's portion which we really appreciate LOTS! (Thanks so much, Astrid) I'm just wondering how heavy is frozen solid porridge!!!?

Anyway, i will write about whether Joel likes this instant porridge tomorrow...and see if we can use this instead for those few days in Bali.

choco cornflakes

I'm a big fan of chocolate...and chocolate cornflakes! There's this particular brand which i've LOVED since i was very little.

As it's not the cheap cheap chocolates you get from mama-shop, i always savour every bite - even now! But no matter how slooowly i eat, i always finish up the whole "pie"! ;p

When i first saw this selling at imported supermarkets in Shanghai, i was over the moon! There's also more variety - red, yellow, green. I think i've only seen the red packs in Singapore. I still always buy the red pack...but last week, the red was sold out, so i had to choose the yellow (anyway it also wrote 'Milk Choco'). The verdict: it's MUCH NICER than the red! Coz there's some peanut-sized choco crunchy bits!

I'm going to try the green next! If i'm not wrong, it's coffee. I dont like coffee...but i'm going to be more adventurous for this! ;)

P.S. The reason why i have to blog about this is becoz my sis Sandra didnt know that Shanghai has this...and she bought me a box (red) when i was back in Singapore. Keke... Dont worry. Shanghai's imported supermarkets are quite well-stocked. Only more ex. But this one is okay...i think more or less the same price S$3-4.

Elvis set his alarm at 5+am (supposed to get only 2 hours of sleep), but he overslept...maybe he even turned off the alarm without realizing too lah. When Joel gave a cry at 6.40am, all of us got a shock and woke up! Coz Elvis has a 8am plane to catch! So he zoooomed off to the Pudong airport (which is 1 hour journey by taxi). Joel & i continued to sleep till noon! Keke... It's been raining since last night... Guess the weather is so shiok to sleep... ;)

FYI, he missed his flight lah...

O...and i've just added the weather gadget on the right bar. Just now was the Raining icon 7˚C...(now 4pm) it's a Sun & Clouds icon also 7˚C - although there's really no sun lah. Still super misty and cold... Makes me feel sleepy too... Yawn...

le pasta special

Guess what?! I just googled for 'Le Pasta' and i found this blog on it. Seems like this 18 year old girl has given them an 8.5/10 rating on her baking blog - Bake with L.O.V.E. Here's her reviews 'Le Pasta... Special!'

If you remember, it's my sis' bf's brother's stall at Bukit Timah Food Centre (#02-158). When i went back to Spore during CNY, i wanted to go try their pasta coz i'm an absolute pasta lover (guess u can probably tell from the numerous trips to Afternoon Tea for their pasta)...but no time!!! Plus i had stomach flu and really had no appetite for anything. So...i really really have to try it during this coming trip home!
(Here's my old post on it. I hope some of you have tried it.)

After reading her reviews on quite a few items, i'm feeling sooo hungry now at 1AM! It's so cold lately and i've been eating lots of biscuits, snacks and junk... (Terrible) I also secretly hope that Le Pasta will incorporate my all-time-fav Afternoon Tea carbonara pasta into their regular menu. I'm going to tell him the exact ingredients in it - since i cant cook at all - so he has to figure it out. Keke... I sure hope he masters it. Then it can be Singapore's very own Afternoon Tea pasta! It's about ¥60 here w/o the set menu. Hahaha... (Evil) ;p

P.S. I heard from a friend that their signage is not prominent enough...and i've only seen their menu/blackboard from Tricia's mommy blog. So now i finally know how it looks like - bright red with cute fonts. Ok what...at least it's a very prominent colour!

bali and spore

O...and we're heading to Bali to attend a wedding from 7 March. Then we will be back in Singapore from 11 - 15 March (Wed - Sun). I know it's so soon after CNY...but this trip wasnt exactly pre-planned.

Elvis attended a friend's wedding in Bali when i was very pregnant with Joel. He said it was very beautiful, very romantic and wished i was there too. Indeed - with God's blessings - we're finally going to Bali as a family! Yeah! I'm really looking forward to this holiday...and getting to see our friends and their super cute & handsome sons! I also wanna catch some sun and get away from the cold.

Our next trip back will be to attend my girlfriend's wedding in mid-Nov (but only Joel & i). I think my cousin's wedding also falls on the same day...so i'm not sure whose wedding i will be attending... ahhhh...i think more likely my girlfriend's. ;p

Hope Joel behaves himself on the 10 hour 50 mins flight into Bali including transit!

bath time

Naked Joel! Super cute, right? Coz he's enjoying his bath...but i'm sorry i cant let him play with the water for long coz it's super cold and the water also gets cold fast even though i turn on the heater in the room. We're still using our room with the tub on a chair...then we transfer him to the bed when he's done...and dress him quickly. Brrrr...

(The weather has been crazy since last week...from 15/20˚C dropped to below 10˚C again! Think some days even will have minus when it rains!!! Now, it's 0˚C at 1AM)

P.S. Actually, i do wonder how other people bathe for their babies (who cant stand yet).

eating junk

Lately, Joel has been putting rubbish into his mouth - tissue paper, paper, plastics... Whenever i spot him "suddenly so quiet", acting sheepishly (sometimes he even gets a fright when i walk towards him) AND moving his mouth, i will pry open his mouth. (Yes, PRY)

Then, this little boy will cry very loudly with LOTS OF TEARS streaming down his chubby face. Really looks very poor thing! So i will give him a hug once the junk is removed. When he stops crying, he will look very angry too! You can see from the last 2 pictures he is boxing his own cheeks!!! :(

I wrote about the "amazing" VELO last month ('Print Me') ...but i didnt have any pictures to back me up then... Last Sunday, i saw 1 of their printing booth at the basement of Fox Town. So i quickly took some pictures. Sorry blurred coz i was actually sneaking around to get these shots... Haha! ;p

cooking 6

Here's my 6th home-cooked lunch/dinner. I cooked the egg with prawns! A little too many prawns though...and a bit mistake coz the prawns are not "inside" the egg! But still looks much better than Ahyi's version, right? Tastes better too! Keke... ;p

In view of Vday, i picked this DVD to watch on Sunday night - P.S. I Love You (2007) starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, with Lisa Kudrow. It's one of the many DVDs sitting on our shelf - forgotten, unloved, unopened. So what better day to watch it!

From the beginning (till the end), Elvis thought that it's a boring movie - an understatement. But i was really touched and was sobbing almost throughout the movie! Haha! Maybe these are "girl movies". Here's the plot:

Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. Saturday - Joel scratching flesh before he dozes off...


Sunday - HuaiHai Road Gymboree, Fox Town, Xu Jia Hui and Afternoon Tea...
Thanks to Elvis who woke up depite the late night (or morning) to bring Joel to his play class. After that, we decided to go check out Fox Town - an outlets store - near XuJiaHui which our friend recommended. Not very fantastic. A lot of chinese-duno-what-brands. (Those labels stated on their website...not true one leh) But there were lots of people. It's linked to the subway (very convenient) and lots of restaurants in the basement. After that, we headed to the XJH Pacific.


Daddy bought this nice nice jacket from Izzue (which was his style) & his 1st "non-fashion" jacket from The North Face (coz he's going to work on this account. Of course, this is just an excuse lah). He just cannot resist buying them although he knows the dry cleaning bills are mounting and it's impossible to store everything away! Haha! That's ELVIS! (There's also more shopping than what's shown here)

The deco at this Afternoon Tea outlet here at XJH is slightly different the one at XTD. Lovely prints on the walls... I had the Salmon & Asparagus Risotto. (Pasta's still better)

he's really tired

On Vday, we had some time to eat together before Daddy went to work...so we had brunch dimsum at Crystal Jade. After that, all of us went down to the shoot/studio. Everyone was amused with Joel including the British director & crew. I could tell that Elvis felt like a proud Daddy. They were "walking around" in his little blue boots. Haha!

This is a funny picture i took of Joel napping while we had dimsum. He was also eating his porridge about 5 mins before this...then he didnt want to eat, made a little fuss...scratched my hands (as always) and just fell asleep in the highchair! So cute! The people sitting at other tables and the waitresses (who adores Joel) were all laughing! ;)

Anyway, Elvis came home from the shoot about 4am (they wrapped up earlier than expected)...and the 2 boys are sleeping now. It's Joel's 1st nap of the day.

Think we'll just stay home today and order delivery since the temperature dropped again. Yday was very cold too. That's Spring - unpredictable.

it worked

I know what i wrote about being Disappointed was rather mean. But the good news is, we've gotten 2 very-keen-to-go friends & 1 family to finally RSVP! Of course, it was also partly becoz i played bitch and gave someone "a little pressure" to sign up for the good cause too!
(You wouldnt even believe what she told those other people who were quite bent on going! "If the tickets are released, u gals can take the cheaper tickets, and we'll take the more expensive tickets...BUT we wont be going." It doesnt make any sense, right??!!)

Anyway, bitch aside... at least now, we have 3 families & 2 girlfriends attending. That's 8 adults, 4 children. Not bad after all!

I've got a feeling my lunch/dinner today is going to taste horrible. Ahyi is still cooking the pork now... Okay, that might taste ok since it's hong shao - cant go wrong with that recipe, huh. It's still simmering. It's just that i can smell liquor from the pot too! I sure hope it will all be evaporated...

It's more about the Eggs with Prawns (or Prawns with Eggs) that i asked her to cook... Hmm... I dont know why it looks the way it looks - dark coloured, minced egg and smells of liquor. Nothing like what we see in Singapore - or in any of the restaurants here for that matter. Apparently, she's placed soya sauce instead of salt, and added quite a bit of the chinese yellow wine, and really "chopped up" the eggs using the cooking utensil! It looks more like minced pork to me than eggs! She said she thought i love soya sauce becoz i told her to cook fried rice with soya sauce before, and she has seen me eat porridge with soya sauce! Wow! She's not kidding me huh. And the wine she said was for ALL meats.

All i can say is...her cooking always looks nice, yummy even. BUT it always taste very 'normal', bland even. Truth is, my cooking (3) was really much nicer than hers! Even Elvis has commented that her cooking is very so-so.
