My other friend, BeeLing, who was keen in coming to Shanghai for holiday (this/next month) before she pop* just told me over MSN she's not coming after all. Coz her daughter was sick over the Good Friday weekend. Little Kaede vomited, couldnt eat and has lost some weight. So her daddy is very worried...said dont wanna go holiday already.
*BeeLing is pregnant with #2 and EDD in early August.
So now, we're just expecting:
- Catherine & Ricky (our Nafa friends) in May'09
- Benson, Sharon, Claudia & #2 in Summer/Autumn '09
- Becky in Spring '10

About Me
and it all began from here
Through my blog, i've become like an Ambassador of Shanghai to all my friends back home! This makes me really happy (though i only know like maybe 0.1% of Shanghai)! I'm sure they're also glad to know that i'm getting on well here! YES! I've come to love Shanghai! This coming from me - who was so prejudiced against everything chinese - u'll know that Shanghai is sooo good! ;D
Blogging is new to me. It's not what my generation/friends would do. The only reason why i got down to it is to kill time since we've relocated from sunny Singapore to China, Shanghai. Most of the time, i duno what i can write about...so i just blabber about stuff...any stuff... I thought that it'll be totallly silly, BUT truth is, blogging can be quite addictive! And the thing is, i dun even know if anyone's reading it at all! Perhaps it's just me writing & me reading. So, do drop me a message that shouts 'I WAS HERE!' Kekee... And thanx - if u r reading this! ;) jo
AND NOW, we have a new addition into our lives - our little Elvis Junior - Joel Chau Ze. (Born on 24 Dec 2007) This blog will begin to be filled with lots of lovely pictures of him - starting from his ultrasound scans. I'm sure we make a wonderful family.
Just as life is always full of surprises, Mommy Jo is pregnant again! Our second baby will arrive when Joel turns 3 years old (34 months to be exact).
We named out little girl, Emma Chau Xu. She was born on 15 Oct 2010.
We are BETTER TOGETHER.

and you need to pay entrance fee to visit hte places of interest?
I enjoy it too - most of the time. Coz there's always something new about Shanghai.
Entrance fees to museums etc generally quite cheap here. (Not like in Europe. Must go dutch! Keke...)
Most other places are free.
ha.. going to keep u busy for some time.
but am sure u'll enjoy seeing all your friends.
I hope I can make it to Shanghai, a place that I have been wanting to visit for the longest time.
Because of Claudia attending school and no. 2 coming soon, I haven't gone anywhere this year.

Actually, it depends... I had guests almost every month when i first came in 2006-2007. Now with Joel, it's quite troublesome too. He's too heavy and naughty for me to manage alone. Plus i dont wanna spoil people's holidays too.

Yes, i really hope u guys can come. Maybe come with your in-laws so they can help to look after the kids too. Keke... Just a thought lah. ;p
